I'm One Year Old!
That's right. How do ya like me now?! I'm one year old. I had a big party and all my friends came. Coleman, and Laney, and Faith (and their parents, too). I got a great many presents that have provided hours of entertainment for me, and some R&R for my parents. I also got to eat cake for the first time. Whoa! What is that about! I got a crazy rush and my head was spinning. I can't wait until my next birthday. Anyway, thanks to everyone who came to my party. Enjoy these pics!

Hi there! I'm Ryan Jacob Garza, but you can call me RJ, or Ryan - whichever you prefer. My mom and dad have a ton of names for me anyway (I seriously think my dad wakes up each morning and decides to call me something different for that day).
I am fairly new to blogging, and...well, the world, honestly. I arrived on the scene about eleven months ago from the time that this was written - born in Bethesda, MD. Yeah, same hospital the President goes to, uh huh. Here I am just a few minutes after coming out of...well, you know.

This is what my mom looked like after the whole ordeal of pushing me out of her body. I guess they tried to get her to put some stuff back in, but it doesn't look like that went very well.

Here's my dad holding me for the first time. I think he did a pretty good job of not looking terrified.

And my aunt Shawna was there too. Can you believe how good she looks after driving 6 hours through the night and about 1 hour of sleep?

Here is a family photo with my Grandpa Scott and Grandma Karlyn in there too. Everyone was so happy to see me, but to tell you the truth, it was all very overwhelming, and all I wanted to do was sleep.

So that's just a very basic introduction. My life is really a roller coaster ride (as you can see).
Dad and me on a roller coaster
Everyday I learn something new about the world and myself. Some things are pretty darn amazing, others are down right terrifying; but from here on out I'll try to keep you updated as best I can on what's going on in my life. If I start keeping a record now, historians of the future should have little room for debate over when and how I accomplished all the great things I plan on doing.
